Chester County Suicide Prevention works to reduce suicide and suicide-attempt rates in Chester County, Pennsylvania through training, community outreach, and a free 24-hour warm line. We train teachers, coaches, clergy, and parents in how to recognize warning signs and have the conversations that actually help.

What we do
Foster homes, not kennels.
Animals waiting on adoption with us sleep in real beds, get used to kids and other pets, and arrive at their new family with a behavior profile built over weeks, not a label stuck to a crate.

Free training in Question, Persuade, Refer for teachers, coaches, clergy, and community groups. Over 2,400 adults trained since 2010.
Warm Line
A free, non-clinical listening line staffed 24 hours a day by trained volunteers. For people in distress and for loved ones supporting them. Not a crisis hotline, though we connect callers to crisis services when needed.
School Partnerships
Working with seven Chester County school districts on student curriculum, teacher training, and postvention planning after a loss.
Every dollar moves an animal closer to home.
